I'll try writing about my veggie experience soon and send it over, but I'll tell you briefly how it went. First off on Friday we were invited to lunch at some resturant and honestly I forgot all about the veggie week so we ordered meat, and not that it was good, it was so not good! anyways well I started on Sat. and it went pretty well, so on Tue dad brought us some chicken sandwiches and I just grabbed mine and started eating, and then when I finished half of it I was like 'Uh oh, I'm supposed to be veggie' so anyways I just broke it off, I got to do 4 veggie days and will continue the 3 remaining some other time, what matters is the experience right?

My vegetarian week experience: Being vegetarian is simply fun. You get to experience something new, and the food you eat feels healthy. My vegetarian week lasted for four days. I'd have loved if I could've managed to stay vegetarian longer, but I couldn't. Don't get me wrong, it was fairly easy. I survived four days without meat, but when I was in my fifth day I simply forgot I'm vegetarian and so I ended up eating a chicken sandwich at dinner and only after finishing half of it I remembered I'm supposed to be vegetarian. Most people would think it's very hard to be vegetarian, when it's not. Maybe it's because I could give up meat easily. Although this experience made me realize how much meat we eat. It's a lot! But it also made me remember to eat reasonable portions of vegetables and fruit. I'd love to continue being vegetarian from time to time, and keep this going.
(Didn't know where 2 send it so I just thought of posting it here, where r u thinking of publishing them?)

I dun want to be nosy or anything but i want to know from the vegetarians points of view why have they chosen that option. Are there any benefits from the environment? My little brain can't understand it cause i've read articles where it says vegetarians are a threat to the equilibrium of the environment but others defends that vegetarians are good to the environment so what the heck

Believe it or not, I was actually a vegetarian for about 2 years. Eventually my lust of meat broke me down, but today I have kind of a mixed proud/embarrassed feeling about the whole thing because I guess I think vegetarianism is kind of silly now.
If you really want to make a difference in how animals are treated world wide (Which I realize is not the only reason one would become a vegetarian) you should buy meat from free grange animals and from farms that provide animals decent lives, so they you even the playing field as far as companies that breed livestock.
Dunno why Vegetarianism would upset the environmental "equilibrium". If all animals became herbivores it would upset things of course, but the amount of meat people consume today in the world is crazy, and is one of the reasons we have obesity issues like we do.

The main thing is i see the reflection of a human's life, actually mine in other lives. ( this should certainly seem stupid for most of you, even if u think so not a problem). about the ECO-balance, that is really too much. The animals don't breed in thousands naturally, we do make them breed for our needs, so Eco-balance is not a good concept to stay off from turning a veggie. we boast of having six senses unlike other animals, so y can't we be better than some of them? some animals need to feed on other animals for survival, i don't think homosapiens are one of them..... thats it.

My little brain can't understand it cause i've read articles where it says vegetarians are a threat to the equilibrium of the environment but others defends that vegetarians are good to the environment so what the heck Hey, I wanted to clear out why becoming veggie helps the environment, cuz while I was looking for videos for my social studies project, and it was about global warming, I found this video and it's 20 mins long so I'll try to tell you why being veggie helps the environment. Nowadays we are consuming alot of meat and many trees are being cut in order to make a place to breed those animals, and so it's the first thing. Deforestation to breed animals for us to eat. Now then when animals are fed alot of food in order for them to get fatter so that we can make the best of their meat, the amount of harmful gases that come from animals increases, and I think the main gas in methane. And methane is one of the gases that cause global warming. And in the video they show Salmon fish, and when they catch it, they keep it in tanks and put chemical stuff there so that it can become red and attractive, it's really horrible stuff. So I hope you get why being a veggie is environmentaly friendly! I'll post the video later on.
