Title: Pride and prejudice Author: Jane Austin Publisher: UBSPD world classics ‘IT is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.’ This was the novel’s first line and it’s exactly what the novel is about. Pride and prejudice, a novel by Jane Austin and when I say a novel I mean it in every letter. It is a perfect novel (from a fan’s point of view). Jane Austin wanted to name the novel ‘first impression’ but then she found that ‘pride and prejudice’ is more suitable. It is about 5 daughters of a marriage-seeking-for-her-daughters mother and a good father. Jane the eldest and then come our heroine Elizabeth and Lydia, Mary and Kitty. Darcy (the perfect prince charming for a lot of girls) which his don’t-care attitude made girls fall for him and he seems that he doesn’t want a marriage by true love. Any girl seemed to satisfy him but then he met Elizabeth and went under her spell without her even noticing or even wanting that to happen. At first Darcy said to his friend Mr. Bingley: ‘you’re dancing with the only handsome girl in the room’ and that was about Jane. Funny how first impressions don’t last and we change most of them about people. Mr. Bingley shows a great deal of his feelings for Jane and everyone knows that and after few weeks Mr. Bingley, his sister and Mr. Darcy take sudden leave without notice. And that destroyed every chance of Jane marrying Mr. Bingley for they heard that they have no intention of coming back at all. They all were surprised and poor Jane didn’t know what to think. Mr. Darcy was a very proud man and love made him step on his pride and forget all about it. Funny what love is capable of. He never gave up on the one he loved. And true love was there truly. Elizabeth goes to her cousin and his wife (who used to be one of her close friends) and she meets Mr. Darcy there and he tells her that he loves her there and explains why they left and all that. Here I must stop saying what happened in the novel for you should read it yourself and find what happened next. It is such a great love story! It’s now very cheap to write about a lover who his loved one rejects him/her but when you read that novel you feel its originality and Jane Austin gave it to that novel. A quote from the novel: “You have said quite enough, madam. I perfectly comprehend your feelings, and have now only to be ashamed of what my own have been. Forgive me for having taken up so much of your time, and accept my best wishes for your health and happiness.” said Mr. Darcy I must admit that I read the novel online, I didn’t find the book and as I was checking the chapters now, I wanted to read it all again! But it would be much easier to read it from a book. And here is the link to the novel: www.online-literature.com/austen/prideprejudice/My rating: 9.9/10

It is kind of weird that you haven't heard about her Zach. She was a very talented writer. She was British and died nearly when she was 40 years old. She has 6 published novels and one that she didn't complete because illness prevented her from finishing it. They are making a movie about her life. Her roled is played by Ann Hathaway -not sure how her name is spelled- the movie is called 'being Jane'....... And that was what I know about Jane Austen. She was a great writer but I am not a big fan. She has a fine line but I hate to read more than four or more chapters without some thing interesting happening in the novel. My favourite book for her is 'Persuasion'. That book was different because I found the book really interesting. She has something very special in her books. The end is exactly how you want it to be, but she succeeds in making you think that it will never happen. I am dying to get my hands on her book 'Emma'

You really should. At first I saw the movie and the movie was good. But then what I wanted more was to read the book. When I got my hands on the book I was so HAPPY. The moment I finished the book I really loved it and I thought it was really brilliant. But what I wanted to do next was to have someone christian to explain why the book wasn't so good. I had Bhishma explaining and he said somethings that were really true.
So the book is a fiction novel that Jesus -PBUH- was a man -not God's son- and that he had married and his bloodline is still on earth. So what I now have realized is that if the book represents the author's thoughts then he shouldn't have published it as a fiction because then everyone has the right to express their opinions and people would have no right in banning the book or so.
So that's it about The Da Vince Code! the book is rily TOO GOOD! my english teacher borrowed the book from me! and u know.... I just have to meet Dan Brown one day, I have tonnes of questions to ask him ;D

moving on....... anyone read The Da Vince code? ;D yeah I read the book and went to see the movie! I love the story and maybe there's some truth to it about Jesus I mean, I think Jesus was a person like you and me but what's different is that he put out a message of love and healing and was in touch with god. It's proven that he lived and that he died the way the bible says but there are also some records that he had siblings so it's quite difficult to know what's true. But I think the most important things is his message and I believe in that. Anyway that was way off-topic, I love Dan Brown I have three of his books I think everyone should try reading it in English I don't know in my language they just translate really badly. So I bought them in english. I think he's a great writer.. and I love this story. And I think Robert Langdon's character is great he should write more books about Robert Langdon!

Title: The Alchemist Author: Paulo Coelho Publisher: The International BestSeller
I have been dying to get my hands on this book. I finished it in 3 days which is a record for me but the reason was that I couldn't put it down. The books talks about fullfilling your destiny and finding out about this universe. It is about a shephard's journey towards finding out what really matters in life and exploring this great world. You should read it because even if we weren't lucky enough to travel across deserts and be able to talk to the sun, we can at least learn from this books great values about going for your dreams and giving your best to acheive your goals. The boy also finds great love in his journey and this love is what gives him strenght to move on through the obstacles he faces. Trust and listen to your heart is one of the lessons I have learnt through reading this book. To make it as simple as possible the book is really a great great book that every one should read before they die. It is a must do.
My rating: 10\10
