Dear all YFCI Members,
After much thought and consideration, I have decided that I cannot fully take-on YFCI anymore. I am almost in my first 2 months of school and I have barely enough time for school work, debate, clubs, and friends/family. I feel that to make YFCI better, we need a new leader(s) that can put in more time and effort for this group to succeed.
I have decided that I will be resigning as Administrator/Director of Youth for Change International sometime in the week of October 19th.
Now, it’s time for someone new or a group of people to take the lead. I have already e-mailed the staff members and now wanted to open the door to all of you.
Please send me an e-mail as soon as possible if you’re interested in becoming the new “facilitator”, and I need to know before the week of October 19th (preferbly before then). I just need someone to have all of the website and e-mail passwords, all of the files we've made (all which will be on Webs.com), instructions on how to access things, and add you as the new forum administrator at the message board.
If I don’t have anyone signed up by then, I will have to close the website and forum, or at least hide all of the pages temporarily until someone steps up to the plate.
I really enjoyed working with and especially getting to know all of you! I am never going to forget all of the people who made this organization and campaign of youth from around the world great; Thank you.
Personally, I'm so happy that this group that I founded 5 years ago became such an interesting and great group, and I'm sure that it can become even better in the future.
Thank you so much,
Zach Komes
P.S.: I will definately not be leaving YFCI completely. I just need someone else to take on the leadership role. I'll try to remain posting on the discussions and contributing input when necessary, but this is a great opportunity for you to help make this organization even better! Thanks, everyone!
