Well, 2 minutes ago, I've read an article, published in the newspaper "Eleftheros Typos" about Singapore and the International Olympic Committee.
As you may know, Singapore will be the host city for the 1st Youth Olympic Games and asked from the IOC, to light the Olympic Flame in Singapore and not in Ancient Olympia, as it is used to.
Furthermore, Singapore presses the IOC, to allow it light the Olympic Flame for every Olympiad, that means for the eternity!....
Do you think this is right?
Pier de Couperten, the "father of the modern Olympic games", wanted the Flame to be lit up in Greece, in the mother of the Olympic Games. It was his personal wish and from the 1st Olympiad until now, this right belongs to Greece, given by the IOC.
