Hi! Thanks for posting here Justin. I have visited Colombia once, when my parents and I adopted by younger sister from Bogotá. While I was there, I experienced one of the worst experiences of my life, a car bomb 4 blocks away. I was only 5 years old at the time, but I still remember the tragicness, and the loud BOOM, with the shattering of hundreds of windows.
Even though, I still will always treasure the moments I visited to the country. I will also be taking a school-related exchange trip to Perú this summer, which I can't wait!
More about my past trip and my future trip later.

Brazil? Cool! Yeah, it was horrific. But the funny part is, my little sister (who would have been 2 months at the time), slept through the whole thing! Haha

U will love Peru C: dun worry terrorism has gone down and the place is bomb-less I expect for a couple of yrs. When going to Arequipa DO NOT forget these things:
- Eat loads of diary products yummy! They're the best! Ask for Manjarblanco and Alfajores.
- Take a look at the Misty volcano before it erupts
- Take some soroche pills ^^UUUU some ppl are affected by the low conc. of oxygen. I'm peruvian but I really get dizzy at 1000m above sea (yeah my body sux x)
- Watch out your bag as most bags are stolen in the entrance to the airport. Some kids (and this makes me sad) are thieves and they will convince u with their charms in other to let them carry your luggage or any stuff. Don't treat them badly neither ignore them, just give 'em a candy and make 'em happy.
- Take loads of photos and have fun
(my advise ^^UUU although sry if I offend u, I'm quite hot tempered)
Bombs're really nasty btw. I dun remember much about it but a bomb was placed near my window when I was like a year old. I just happened to cry 5 minutes before it exploded and I was carried to the living room on the ground floor. The bomb exploded and sharp glasses torn appart my cradle. ****, I was lucky O.o
There was another time (or there were another times) when I went shopping to Centro de Lima and u often find armed revolts nearby. Hopefully the police is able to control it with lagrimogenous gases so I've never seen an explosion in there
