The same problems everywhere... The governments and the people think every issue is important, except the MDGs.I don't think the MDGs will be achieved by 2015, keeping the current scenario in view.

Okay, good that you expressed your desire to learn more about the MDGs.You could visit this link for more precise and concise info about the MDGs - www.un.org/Pubs/CyberSchoolBus/mdgs/index.asp Its the UN website about MDGs especially meant for youth.I too, learnt about the MDGs for the first time from here only. And you can also check TIG as well as VOY for more information about it.And yes, even our own YFCI website has information on the MDGs. Here's the link to the MDG section @ VOY - www.unicef.org/voy/explore/mdg/explore_mdg.phpHope this info is helpful.Karma for you for expressing your desire to learn!

but I still don't know why governments aren't interested! I mean, it's not like they don't know about it! which I'm sure that they are aware of it!! is it because they have things they think that they are more important than ending world poverty! please if you have any opinions why they aren't interested share them!

Its really simple Huda!If they set out to achieve the MDGs, then how will they hoard money for themselves? How will they fill their own pockets? For achieving the MDGs, they'll actually have to use the money for the welfare of the people, which under normal circumstances, they never do. Corruption is the root cause.Self interest always ends up gaining precedence over national interests.

Yes its frustrating. The government is corrupt everywhere. The idea of an honest government sounds like a fairytale to me!Completely utopian! Corruption has ruined our lives!

Yeah sure! We, the "Youth for change" are trying to make a difference on our own level. We can succeed in eradicating corruption by being more honest and fair in our everyday lives.I do hope we're able to make a difference!
