It is indeed a matter of great concern that the youth of today are living in present without giving much concern for the future ans look what the future beholds for them. Global climate change, nuclear weapons, civil wars, resource crunch, poverty, hunger and above a fight for living... The youth are being guided into having a tunnel vision and not a holistic view. let's not be guided by elders but develop our own vsion that we share with the fellows of our generation and ponder upon the serious problems such as HIV-AIDS and put in joint efforts for our own well being and sustainable peaceful future...

Karma for you I would have to agree with you. I think because people are to quick to look at what the elders and other do we must become more understanding that our future is in our hands and we must take the opportunity to elaborate on it and change it. What ever the case may be. My question to all how do we teach this?

I keep wondering if youth are aware that they are the future leaders. that they are the foundation stone for the development of the world. if so why are we still not up to the task? why are we still dependednt on the elders. tis good to take advice from the elders but we have to be inovative first and the only way possible is to take control of our destiny and make the best use of the present so that we can shape our future.
its high time we youth address the issues that are confronting us. the issues that are hindering our progress and unity. we are the same despite colour religion or race. we all youth and been different with colour nakes it more interesting and we should show signs of cooperation.
the issues of AIDS.is greatly affecting youths world over. arm conflict and wars its fuel by the youths. si who are we lets try and identify ourselves then take control of our destiny. Remeber our destiny is in our hands.
