Hey
Hope you're all doing good.. I have a paper coming up for school and it's about the situation in Burma, my question is: Should the UN interfere and if so in what way??
I was wondering if you could answer this question I would like to see what people think about this, it's sort of a poll..

Yeah I got an email from Amnesty International about this, I didn't quite pay attention so I'm gonna go read it again and try to answer ur question ;D well, as far as I understood, those demonstrators who are protesting peacefully, are being treated violantely right? I do think the UN should interfere in here because this falls under Freedom of Speech and they should have the right to protest as long as they're doing it peacefully. authorities shouldn't have the right to abuse them... that's if I understood the situtaion right! hope I helped and if u need anything else, let us know

Hmm.. I must say, I am not very informed about this issue. The news sources here in the US have not covered it, as far as I know (I havent seen or heard about the violence in Burma at all)..
