Well, for me, It was an ok year too. There were many good things, and many bad things this (or do I say last) year. There are some improvements in Iraq, but the media doesn't tell us about it. The UN is getting allot of things done, even though Kofi Anan is out. The Stock Market is going okay, could be better, but could also be very worse.
I think we had a pretty good year!

Couldnt have been better. What to say. I got my degree in advertising. A fresh graduate but got appointed in an international advertising agency. Not to handle any products or brands. I got the public health campaign (Anti-smoking, Hiv/Aids, and Dengue) to handle and it went pretty well.
Been single for this whole year with not much attachment. Still have many girl friends, but no love involved.
2006 changed me a lot. I got many responsibilities to my family and to myself. Graduation was part of it.
Did many crazy things this year. Made a lot of surprises to many people. Met new friends which is crazy, but i learned from those craziness.
Next year is a new beginning as i quit my work to focus on my study. For me, i want to stop my academic life with a master, then i focus on work. Where money, with my own strength and sweat, is the only way to survive.
What a good year. It is!
--> Nice thread here Noor.

lets talk politically and on the world scale! how was 2006?? I personally think that it didn't accomplish much! I mean not much done on the fight to earse poverty, not much on the war in Iraq, ok so Saddam is sentenced to die, but will that rilly make a huge diff.? and the conflict between Isreal and Lebanon!! and Iran's situation with producing nuclear power!! they r now seeing bout punishment? what do u think?

Politically? It was filled with crappy events.
- The Democratically Elected Hamas Government has been boycotted creating chaos in Palestine
- Sectarian Violence in Iraq.
- The Isreal/Hezbollah War
and more..
From a non poltical view, it was like any other year for me... it was okay.
