When we talk about Malaria in sub saharan Africa, we are talking about the disease which kills many more people than any disease. Malaria is the killing machine as days past there is no solution to the problem.
Today i see that Malaria can be stoped but it will not be stoped by the use of malaria nets or distributing medicine to all people who are sick. It is high time for us to fight malaria in a new way and this way is to attack the root cause of malaria, though many of us our focus is in ecology but today am going to focus in poverty.
Poverty is the causative of malaria since people who are sick for malaria are the one who are living under poverty. It is hightime for the society to develope these people so that they can have access to good health services, diet and conducive environment. BY DOING THIS I STRONGLY BELIVE WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE WAR

That sounds like a really great idea, but if people are trying to get out of poverty, having malaria stops adults working and can kill children or at least prevent them going to school - so I think that having nets and medication is useful and its also a lot more easy to provide malaria nets than end world poverty.

I agree with Chloe. I think that, while it may only solve the short-term problem of Malaria, the success is much better than not doing anything. What are some other solutions, then, besides bed nets, etc.? Thanks for posting
