Hey everyone.
Well, today you'll find a great new option for you! In this special board, you can post current events stories or something odd or unusual. We used to keep a thread called "Current Events" active, but now we have a board for it.
Make sure to create your own thread when you post a news story. Feel free to comment on other stories.. but don't post a whole different story in the same thread (so we can keep it somewhat organized
).
NOTE: Try not to debate on a news article. We want to keep the "Issues Troubling World" category active, too.
To cite a news article, follow these steps.
1. Click
. This will allow you to create a seperate page for your news article, so members can comment directly to that article
2. Copy and paste your article. You can do this by highlighting the article from a different web page and going to "Edit" and
"Copy". The go to the thread post and go to "Edit" then "Paste".
3. Highlight the text and click![]()
s4.images.proboards.com/blockquote.gif[/img] (Block Qoute). This will leave an indent in the article, so we can tell which is the article, and which is your personal add to it.
4. Make sure you cite your source! All posts that do not cite a source will be deleted (due to Copyrights). We definately don't want to get sued.
To add a YouTube video or image
1. In the text box to create a thread, copy and paste the URL for the video or image.
2. Highlight the URL and click
for image, or 
for a YouTube Video.
3. Click "Post Message".
To Insert a text link
1. Into the text box, click
2. Follow this format: [img-PUT URL HERE]ADD TEXT HERE![]()
