Hello everyone! What do you know about Vietnam - the hidden charm? Have you ever been to Vietnam? Do you want to visit Vietnam some day? I've created this threat to help anyone who are interested in Vietnamese learn about this wonderful language. I'm a new member of this forum and this is my first post, so hope that you guys will enjoy it. Now let's start with some basic terms: - Hello: Xin chào - Goodbye: Tạm biệt - How are you: Bạn khỏe không? - I'm fine: Tôi khỏe. - See you later: Hẹn gặp lại. - Yes: Vâng - No: Không - I love you : Anh yêu em (man to woman) or Em yêu anh (woman to man) - Thank you: Cám õn. Hey guys, let's "cám õn" me! ;D

Thank you very much for your motivation. By the way, there's something wrong with the font when I type accents, so don't know whether you could read the Vietnamese words normally or not. I suggest that you should go to View button on menu bar on top of Internet Explorer, then slide down to Encoding and choose Unicode (UTF-8). About the pronunciation, it's very different from English, so at present I don't know how to make it easy for you guys, perhaps I'll think more about it later. Now just pronounce the words like what you see, for example: Xin /xin/; Hẹn /hen/ with a drop in your voice...
Here are some new words: - I: tôi - You: bạn - He: anh ấy - She: cô ấy - It: nó - They: họ
