hey everyone, we have lived 2 years in Jordan and we go there to spend our summer vacation regulary! we had the greatest times living there... people are so very friendly.... I would like to tell u some of the must-see places there! Amman is the capital city and in night the city is so beautiful because there r alota mountains and on those mountains they built their houses so u can see lights lighten in night!! chk this: p.vtourist.com/1994209-Amman_at_night-Amman.jpg'The Dead Sea'.. I remember when I went there, the water was so SALTY! and even water got in my eyes which hurt so much! anyways it was so much fun since u don't have to know how to swim to get in the water.. it'd just lift u up! There's also Petra which I never got to see.. but it looks so beautiful! it was built probably 3000 years ago! chk it out: www.jordan-explorer.com/images/Photo-208200252313.jpgThere is also 'Ajloun Castle' which I got to visit and it was so high!! if u went to the roof of it u'd be able to see the dead see which was such a fabulous scene! www.atlastours.net/jordan/ajloun_castle.jpg

www.buildexonline.com/round_the_world/images/deadsea_b.jpgsee this is the deadsea.. I just read that Jordan Ministry of water & Irrigation, said that the deadsea is threatened to be extinction in the 50 years to come, and if they don't make a channel with the red sea then the deadsea would be in a threat, and they're asking people in power who can do something to get involved and prevent this from happening. facts about the 'dead sea': - the reason they call it the 'deadsea' is because there's no life in it, no fish, sea animals, nothing because it's so salty that animals can't live in it.. - it is known as the earth's lowest point. - Besides the unique water of the Dead Sea itself, there are also health spas and hot springs along the shore. you can check this link for more information on it: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Seacheck the pictures in that link..
