I dont think people in Iraq will give up that easy. They are going be on their own one day. The foreign soldiers on Iraq's land will leave soon or later. They will have their own democratic country where its being rule by their own people, and the ruler chosen from their own people. Other islamic countries will help develop Iraq. They will have funds for infrastructure, economy, morale building, ethnic integration, education and etc. Their standard of living will rise, and of course salary will increase. 2 dollars will just be a thing in the past.
When will Iraq be like that? When sunni and shia unite. Muslims make up 96 percent of Iraq's population, but sharp divisions exist between adherents to the Sunni and Shia branches of Islam. Branches. But still Islam. And because of this, Iraq is and will always be fragile to invasion from other countries.
When will they gain freedom and stand on their feet? When Iraq is being hold hand in hand with sunni and shia.
I might be wrong here. Hope you guys will correct me if im wrong.

well, Amar.. u're right and thanx 4 ur wishes.. but also this wrong idea about saying: there are alot of differences between sunna and shia and they need to unite.. this are some differences between themm.. thats true.. but did it come between them alot of years ago when they lived peacfully with each other? so I think we should stop saying that!! and just focus on clearing Iraq from terrorism!!!!!

now I think we should talk about life in Iraq now!!!! give us your opinions on what do you think is going on and why? You want us to give our opinion but when one gives one, you said, "I think we should talk about life in Iraq now!!!! give us your opinions on what do you think is going on and why?" Isnt what i said was an opinion and what i think was going on in Iraq? You said they lived peacefully with each other? Were they? Right now? Are they. Check this website. www.newstatesman.com/200702120009news.independent.co.uk/world/middle_east/article1185356.ecewww.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=7411762I dont want to live in denial and pretend that everything is ok or will soon be ok. I see it as a problem. I see when a muslim/muslimah ask another muslim/muslimah whether they are sunni or shia is a problem. I cant remember but last time someone was asking me whether i'm a sunni. I got offended by it. I dont know why. Islam is Islam no matter what sections are you in.

Islam is Islam no matter what sections are you in. yes, in fact the reson I asked that question... because you wanted to talk about Iraq now.. so I asked that to other members to share their opinions too ;D and they ask us here 'are you a sunni or shia?' a lot of times but we don't answer!!! we just say: we're muslims and that all that matters.... I don't what will it change if they knew if we're sunna or shia... no use for them to know!!!! and sunna and shia lived peacefully with each other... but now.. some not all from both sides have changed and started treating each other like the other isn't a human!!! so yes, there is a problem between them and it needs to be solved because we're all humans after all... if we're musilms/christains/Hindus/..... etc.

jus today there was a mosque bombing! and it was a sunni mosque and this wud make ppl think that the shia were the ones who bombed it and this is how terrorism in Iraq works! I mean it got to the point of bombing holy places like mosques where ppl go there to find peace and to pray to Allah! I am afraid to even think of what more it can get to!

that's indeed true coz...weather shia or sunni they're muslims and both follow islaam ultimately..they should respect each other's religion..the thing which should concern us should be terrorism rather than casteism
