Attention everyone!
I have a suggestion.I think since our org. has grown so rapidly over the past one year and we now have so many members from different countries around the world, so it's time that we create a sort of "YFCI Members' Code of Conduct".
We need to have a "Code of Conduct" policy so as to avoid any hassles, member conflicts or any kind of unpleasantness among the members or partners of the org. and maintain the reputation of YFCI.
We basically ought to create a set of rules of expected conduct and behavior for all the members.
And also, I was thinking that maybe we could set up a sort of "Member Grievances Department" or a "Conflict resolution Committee" to handle all the complaints, concerns and problems of YFCI members and partners.
If you like my ideas, then I can elaborate it further and we can proceed. If not, then I'll end it here. Please tell me what you think.
P.S. - I feel no member should leave the org. because of problems with some other member's behavior. If members have any concern or insecurity, they can turn to the Grievances Department.

Thank You Anu! Karma for you! I think this is what we need, because we have already had some member issues, and I think Noor (as the Member Services Crdnr) shouldn't have to deal with this.
Your right, this is a TERRIFIC idea! What say?

Notice from Judges' Chair for all: Our admin and founder Zach, deleted the posts on discussions about the BTCA Program and its proceedings. He had saved all those important posts on his computer. But now, unfortunately he seems to have lost the records of those posts and the main problem is that no else except him had the saved record of those posts! Those posts had important topics like BTCA Judging scale, judging procedure, rules and regulations etc. that we had discussed some weeks ago.I felt that we shouldn't have these important confidential details displayed publicly on the forum. So I had asked Zach to hide these posts from the users of the forum. He told me that there was no way to hide them and he could only save the important posts and then delete them afterwards. Zach did save the copies of the BTCA posts, but he isn't able to find them. Now, without those all-important details it is difficult for me carry on with the BTCA work or to collaborate with the judges. I don't remember them exactly since I had exams last month.I can't discuss or devise all the rules or details about BTCA all over again.Zach had told me that he had saved those posts, so I thought he must be having them. But unfortunately he can't find them and now he's off to Peru. So as of now, the BTCA confidential details are lost! And we don't know if Zach will be able to find them. I can't make up the details again, nor can I devise the ground rules all over again. I step down from the position of Chairperson for the Judges' Committee for BTCA.I apologise for all this, on mine and Zach's behalf. You guys can discuss all the details and make rules ALL OVER AGAIN, but I won't be able to do so, for I have a busy year ahead. Thanks and I hope you'll cooperate.

I think Zach has updated the rules of the BTCA here: www.freewebs.com/youthforchange/bethechangeawards.htmso what's the problem? what kind of information had been lost? I mean I remember that you asked me to ask the particpants to write a brief on their work and such, and I'll save the submission with a code and then send it to the judges, and I think it's still too early to set a deadline! so I dont what kind of info is lost? thanks for letting us know..

Ooh you don't have to apologize Anu!.. By the way can't we make one board for staff only? I know on some forums I go on, that is possible one is a proboard forum as well..

No, I should be the one that apologizes! If I hadn´t misplaced the document, then Anu would still be our BTCA Chairperson. Can´t we just try to remember them? Do you, Huda, remember any of it?
To Jenny´s comment; Oh yes! That is possible.

To Jenny´s comment; Oh yes! That is possible. maybe from now on we can post there about the ideas for competitions or just things we should/could discuss as staff or something.. What do you think?? And Zach it's oke things like that happen from time to time it could've easily happend to one of us

Yeah, good idea. The only thing is I will need to create a group for each staff member´s title. This might take a while, so It´ll happen sometime after I get back.
Thanks!

Hey Everyone. I have an question; do you think we should modify the "Current Rank" system? (Commanding Member, etc; ways of measuring how many posts you've posted.) I'm puzzled with this question, because there are many ways to do it. TIG has things like "Speechless and Talkative", and other forums have made up different sayings as well (like "Humanitarian", "Donor", other stuff). What do you guys think?
