I was talking to Anupreet, and this idea just clicked. We should have a Testimonial page! This way, potential members can find out what members think about the org. What say?

Thanks for creating a new thread Zach! The idea just rocks! So all of you dear members, please post here and write your testimonials for YFCI!
Tell us why you like being a part of YFCI, what do you like the most about YFCI and your fellow members @ YFCI, what are your thoughts about YFCI and being a member of YFCI etc. etc., things like that.Post your thoughts about YFCI here!
As Zach said, a testimonial page will help attract potential members to our org. and I think having a testimonial page, will also put potential members at ease, giving them a welcoming feel. Its a great idea, so let's get cracking guys!
Karma for Zach from me!

Thanks.. another question:
Do we want to post it in the blog, and have a link?
OR
Post on a webpage and give multiple links to that page around the site?

Thanks.. another question: Do we want to post it in the blog, and have a link? OR Post on a webpage and give multiple links to that page around the site? I think it should be posted on a webpage and multiple links to that page around the site should be given.Just like we have an "About Us" section, we'll also be having an "Our testimonials" section. It would be great! By the way guys, I just found this today - www.yfci.org/yfci/ There's another organisation and website by the name of "YFCI".It's "Youth For Christ International".So I was thinking that whenever and wherever we talk or mention about our org., we should not just mention the initials "YFCI", but mention the full name of the org. so that people don't confuse it with the other faith-based organisation. Make it clear everywhere and to everyone that we're "Youth For CHANGE International", not "Youth For CHRIST International".There should be no confusion.

Yup, thats the best way, I think.
Some people (before they joined) asked me about our organization. I told them, and they said they "thought it was about religion or something". So there's an example of the YFCI-YFCI dealing.
It makes it even harder for us to get a custom domain (www.____.org), because YFCI and YFC are already taken. Oh Well. I might add something about that on the site. We have also been confused with "Youth for A CHANGE" on the VOY Forums. Wierd... right?

yes, I remember youth for a change on VOY and I infact confused us in here with it, so yea we shud difently make it clear when we talk bout YFCI to other ppl who rnt members karma 4 AA for bringing this up

Thanks guys! You made my day!Yeah, it's weird to be confused with other organisations. But no problem guys, we'll establish (and in fact we already have established) our own distinct identity in the near future. And our name will be known to all and sundry with no confusions whatsoever!
Now will anyone please tell me why you people aren't writing your testimonials for YFCI?Come on guys get started with this!!

YFCI is one great org. because: - It gives opportunities to everyone to take actions to make the world a better place to live in. - It allows everyone to know more about what's happening in the world. - It makes people believe that the world is going to change for the better. - Everyone can learn more about the issues that matters the most. - Everyone in this org. is free to say their opinions. - In YFCI we discuss everything. - YFCI makes you feel like you're the one to make the change. - YFCI makes you believe that you're capable of anything.
that will do right?
