Okay Everyone, We are now officially on Wikipedia, one of the internet's most popular encyclopedia. We need some people to help revise our article and add more information about YFCI. If you are interested, please go to: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Youth_for_Change_International

Its good that we're on Wikipedia now.But in my opinion, I think its too early to have YFCI on Wikipedia, since our org. isn't registered officially yet and we're still in our initial stages.
Anyhow, I don't really know what should be included in the article about YFCI @ Wikipedia. We have to cite whatever we include in that article. If we can provide the citations then well and good.Otherwise I feel its too early to put YFCI on Wikipedia.

If there are concerns adressed by the editor of Wikipedia, it will be deleted. For one reason, YFCI is still in the small stages and is not known by many people, so finding sources is hard. If it lacks sources : it might be deleted. Also, since a member of YFCI made it, to Wikipedia it is biased.

Wikipedia does not have an article with this exact name. Please search for Youth for Change International in Wikipedia to check for alternative titles or spellings.
* Start the Youth for Change International article or add a request for it. * Search for "Youth for Change International" in existing articles. * Look for other pages within Wikipedia that link to this title.
U have a lot to put on it.
1) FOUNDATION How does "Let's create YFCI! woohoo" came into the creator's mind, the first members, the first hosting site, and the first objectives
2) MEMBERS -Ambassadors ("In YCFI ambassadors are the users which bla bla bla and u explain) -Active users (those who are major contributors) -Other users
-Average age of users (create polls)
3) DOCTRINES AND IDEAS More or less YFCI makes youth united for the common ideas and goals so write about them here. Also include what the majority of these teens think
4) DEBATES Put in here the most interesting debates to let adults see the youth point of view of things
5) PROJECTS Like the magazine u do. Post the numbers and so on
6) FUTURE PROJECTS AND GOALS The name says it all. Add promotional video
7) AFFILIATIONS
8) ACHIEVEMENTS
U sure have some
9) LINKS the link of the main page, the web and other related webs such as unicef.
And there are other stuff to put on it despite this forum being new. Hope this comes in handy
Cheers, vox

I think it would just be deleted once again. I checked the Wikipedia Deletion log, as to why YFCI was deleted and I found this.
(CSD A7, group without assertion of notability)
CSD A7 = Unremarkable people, groups, companies and web content. An article about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content that does not assert the importance or significance of its subject.
So, I think we should wait a bit longer...

But with what VOX named shouldn't that be enough I mean it's good and popular way to spread what we're all about, what we want and include more people.. I think what we discuss and what we could put in that page is of a huge significance.. isn't it? We're the worlds future, it's up to us how the earth will evolve in a little while the more youth is aware of that the better...

Well said Jenny. Karma. Well, I see both sides of this issue. Personally, I think this would be a good way for us to publicize and get more information. The last time we tried doing it, we just copied and pasted the information from our website. So, we should neutralize it. See, for example, how TakingITGlobal did theirs (I worked on it, and I think it would be great for YFCI!): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TakingITGlobal

Thank you Zach I just saw the page of TIG and it looks good I think we can do something like that.,, Karma for you as well, I think it's a good example thanks for sharing.. We can always try and if it doesn't get accepted we'll have to make some improvements I think it won't do us any harm to try.. But it's up to you guys..

So, we do it? Lets work on this together. How about get gather ideas here, before putting them on WikiPedia. I´ll start. Youth for Change International is an international youth-led organization and online community that aims to inspire youth to take action for global issues. PS: Yep, TIG is AWESOME!
