Tomorrow is Bones night here ;D and this night is Bones night in the US.. I don't know if I'll like the US one yet Booth has to pretend to be Cam's boyfriend in a family diner.. and his sister kisses him (for the record he's not supposed to be with Cam or the Sister he belongs with Dr Temperance "Bones" Brennan)! I don't think I like that.. But here we get Angela's wedding to Hodgins. Charmed is again in season 6 here lol by now I've seen most episodes (except season 8) about 5 times Anyone heard about the writers strike? Check this site for more info: community.livejournal.com/wga_supporters/

So what do you think about the strike?
I for one think the writers have a good point. I mean their writing is a big part of what makes or breaks a tv show/movie... Ya know what they're asking for isn't that extreme and I think it's pretty fair considering the work they do..

Yes, I agree with you. The writer's strike was definately needed; without them, there would be no movie! (THey should get like 15% [atleast] of the earnings made).

yeah I agree! No writers, no shows.. that;s my striking motto.. Let's hope they'll solve it soon.. in Bones' case they've 12 episodes completed and we've already had 6 episodes of those Broadway's gone on strike as well btw! The people behind the scenes demand a better working enviorment... I heard something about there being a possibility that the actors are going on strike next year.. But I don't know if that's true..

and I've heard that if the writer's strike continued, then they'll have 2 delay the golden globes because there won't be anyone to write the senarios! can we have more updates on the writers' strike please Jenny?

There's lots of theme picket lines.. Stars of shows have been showing their support everywhere for example the cast of Bones went to one picket line together with show creator Hart Hanson to show their support except for David Boreanaz who was in London at the time but in the interviews he gave there, he said he was in full support of the writers (which he said in many interviews before as well).
The networks have stopped the negotiations for the 2nd time.. They've been spreading lies about the saleries of the writers and have given speeches on several occasions in which they have spread lies about the negotiations..
I think for the best updates you have to check the livejournal link I posted in the 1st post or check the wikepedia page of the strike (writers strike 2007)

I'm not sure if foreign viewers get any of the Late Night shows (Jay Leno, Conan O'Brien, David Letterman) but as of January fifth they are going back on air, without the writers. Usually during Christmas time during a political campaign season, most candidates will go onto the Late Night shows because it is a way to get their message out while not seeming too "political" over the Christmas holiday. It's been funny watching all the candidates without this forum trying to still campaign will not seeming like ****** people. Most of them are ****** people though, so whatev.

I heard about that.. But I also heard that, I believe David Letterman, made a deal with the WGA his company owns his show, so he made a deal with the writers which is a big relief for the actors as well because a lot of them won't cross the picket line and because of that are unable to promote their new movies and tv shows.. Anyways I hope it gets resolved soon, a lot of other crew members have lost their jobs and are still losing their jobs because of the lack of work.. Also for my own selfish reasons there are only three Bones episodes left and the last on of them ends really suprising and with a cliffhanger so I need them to write the rest of the episodes ASAP!
