more updates! as I told you before they got a lot of prizes and gifts! (who else I'm talking about, the Iraqi team!!!) the Iraqi president gave each player 10,000 $ and to Younis Mahmoud (the Captin and the one who scored the goal at the final match) 20,000 $ and the PM gave each player 10,000$ and also some business men gave each player 1000, or some gave 2000 and some gave 5000! and an Iraqi channel gave them a golden ball! and also some people at the government (don't know what you call them in English) gave them some land in Iraq! and the governor of Dubai invited them and gave the whole team 20,000,000 Derhams (in UAEian currancy, you figure out how much money is that) that's all I remember!

ok! I agree, hook me up with any1, I LOVE them all, but I'm afraid most of them are married! and now the team is in Iraq and they brought the Cup there, it was very touching! because after the game between Iraq and South Korea, terrorists bombed few bombs and people were killed, and there was a woman who her son died because of the bombs! and she said that he died for the team, and she refused to grief til the final match, and the team was touched by this woman and they told her that they're all her sons! and in the final match they wore black stuff (bandatte, or what do u call it) and then when they went to Iraq, that woman and her husband came and she gave the Cup to the PM, and they all kissed her on the head! it was really touching! and yes also when they went to Jordan, Kathem al-Saher ( a famous Iraqi singer) sang for them in a party, it was great -but just the part when he showed up, everything else was a mess- and now, I think i bored you with all that details I just can't help it ;D

No one posted anything here, so let me Today was the best Asian football player, 3 nominations: 1. Younis Mahmod (the Iraqi captin) 2. Nashat Akram (from the Iraqi team too) 3. Yaser Al-Qahtani (the Saudi captin) and Yaser won! a lot of Iraqis protested saying that the Saudi princes got involved and that's the reason why Yaser won. I don't know, that maybe is true, but however just being nominated (from the Iraqi team) is a great accomplishment, so we should be content. although from an Iraqi point, I'd say that Younis definetly deserves to win. he was simply the best, of course with his other team mates, they were AWESOME!
