Really? I have read the novel and it was amazing, so I'm really hesitant whether to watch it or not, but I'll watch it whenever I have the chance thanks Jen. Yup I really loved the book and while they're not exactly the same it's good movie, I think it's better filmed than the Da Vinci Code, eventhough I liked that one too.. It was also cool because I'd been at a lot of places they visited in the movie/book when I was in Rome

Oh my I can;t believe I haven't raved about Yes Man here yet Yes Man with Jim Carrey and Zooey Deschanel, amazing movie, after I'd seen in it in the theaters, I bought (pre-orderd) it on DVD, that's how much I loved it.. Especially Zooey was amazing (I might be a little biased on that though ).. Loved, loved the fake band Still chuckle when I hear the lyrics of their songs LOL! Other awesome movies I watched are: Surf's up (2007) A movie about a surfing pinguin, it's so cute and funny, absolutely loved it Bridge to Teribithia (2007) OMGosh I cried during this movie, full blown sobbing to be honest, which doesn;t happen a lot to me. I loved this movie. It's the tale of two kids, who are outcasts at school, but who are really talented in arts, making up of stories and the boy is really good in painting, drawing. They create their own magical land.. It's really a beautiful story.. I bought it on DVD and it was worth every penny I spend on it! (all of these movies were ) Movies I want to see badly: Harry Potter 6 500 Days of Summer! My sister's keeper The Hangover Oh and one movie that just finished shooting: My girlfriend's boyfriend

I saw my sister's keeper yesterday. I haven't read the book but now I really want to! It was so sad and I was either crying or nearly crying the whole way through... having said that, it doesn't take a lot to make me cry. My all time favourite film is probably slumdog millionare...I just sat crying for about an hour after watching that ;D

Yesterday I saw this movie called "I Love You, Beth Cooper" with some friends.. haha it was pretty funny, but not memorable Its about this smart guy who, during a graduation speech, confesses that he loves this popular girl.. eventually they get to know each other.. kind of stupid, but funny ;D I also saw Public Enemies, which is about these bankrobbers from the 1900s with Johnny Depp. Cool movie with lots of action!

Yesterday I've watched Harry Potter 6. Well it wasn't as interesting and fascinating as I expected.... 7.5/10 I am a Harry Potter fan and I have to admit I had such a great desire to take a nap in some scenes. Not to mention the huge "gap" between the chapters of the book. They really cut a lot of stuff....
7.5/10 stars guys

I think it was good overall, the one I can't remember anything of is the fifth one (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix). The book was full of content, so it's weird that I can't remember the movie, it must have been that bad . The sixth one has more comedy and all! I'm a huge Harry Potter fan as well, but I've learned to watch the movies only as movies, as if I hadn't read the books at all. 'Cos we can start from the FIRST one saying that they didn't include Peeves, later that they didn't mention Kreacher or mention how Dobby worked in the Hogwarts kitchen, etc etc. Dunno, it's just my way of appreciating the HP movies .

I agree. I found Harry Potter movies slightly disappointing ever since the 4th movie especially. =/ I really wanted to see how they're supposed to tickle the pear to get in the kitchen and see Winky and so on..

You're right about Harry Potter, but like Victoria said, the movies should be considered apart from the books, because they can never be as good as the books, no matter how hard they try.. so appreciating the movies as movies is the thing to do..
And waiting for "New Moon" the movie to come out, although I think it's going to be as disappointing as Twilight was. WAIT I just found out that it's in November! now why did I think it was coming out this month?? so weird,, anyways! LOL and also just found out that Dakota Fanning is going to be in the movie, that's super-weird!! I don't think she fits into these kinda movies!!
