Here are some more:
Fly- Hilary Duff
http://youtube.com/watch?v=zOQi5bgWYQo LYRICS: Any moment, everything can change, Feel the wind on your shoulder, For a minute, all the world can wait, Let go of your yesterday.
Can you hear it calling? Can you feel it in your soul? Can you trust this longing? And take control,
Fly Open up the part of you that wants to hide away You can shine, Forget about the reasons why you can't in life, And start to try, cause it's your time, Time to fly.
All your worries, leave them somewhere else, Find a dream you can follow, Reach for something, when there's nothing left, And the world's feeling hollow.
Can you hear it calling? Can you feel it in your soul? Can you trust this longing? And take control,
Fly Open up the part of you that wants to hide away You can shine, Forget about the reasons why you can't in life, And start to try, cause it's your time, Time to fly.
And when you're down and feel alone, Just want to run away, Trust yourself and don't give up, You know you better than anyone else,
Any moment, everything can change, Feel the wind on your shoulder, For a minute, all the world can wait, Let go of yesterday,
Fly Open up the part of you that wants to hide away You can shine, Forget about the reasons why you can't in life, And start to try, Fly Forget about the reasons why you can't in life, And start to try, cause it's your time, Time to fly.
LYRICS: Welcome to the planet Welcome to existence Everyone's here Everyone's here Everybody's watching you now Everybody waits for you now What happens next? What happens next?
I dare you to move I dare you to move I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor I dare you to move I dare you to move Like today never happened Today never happened before
Welcome to the fallout Welcome to resistance The tension is here The tension is here Between who you are and who you could be Between how it is and how it should be
I dare you to move I dare you to move I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor I dare you to move I dare you to move Like today never happened Today never happened
Maybe redemption has stories to tell Maybe forgiveness is right where you fell Where can you run to escape from yourself? Where you gonna go? Where you gonna go? Salvation is here
I dare you to move I dare you to move I dare you to lift yourself Lift yourself up off the floor I dare you to move I dare you to move Like today never happened Today never happened Today never happened Today never happened before
LYRICS: If I wrote a note to God I would speak whats in my soul I'd ask for all the hate to be swept away, For love to overflow If I wrote a note to God I'd pour my heart out on each page I'd ask for war to end For peace to mend this world I'd say, I'd say, I'd say
Give us the strength to make it through Help us find love cause love is over due And it looks like we haven't got a clue Need some help from you Grant us the faith to carry on Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong On this road we're on
If I wrote a note to God I would say what on my mind I'd ask for wisdom to let compassion rule this world Until these times If I wrote a note to God I'd say please help us find our way End all the bitterness, put some tenderness in our hearts And I'd say, I'd say, I'd say
Give us the strength to make it through Help us find love cause love is over due And it looks like we haven't got a clue Need some help from you Grant us the faith to carry on Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong On this road we're on
No, no no no We can't do this on our own So
Give us the strength to make it through Help us find love cause love is over due And it looks like we haven't got a clue Need some help from you Grant us the faith to carry on Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong On this road we're on
Do what ever that may lead you to your goal. Because it is your goal, then you must realize that it is within your power to achieve it. It is so close to coming true and you know it deep within. Wait for none and explain to none why or what! Just break free from this life and its barriers! The beautiful sun shine is there, you just have to see it. Look closely.....
We'd better think about the things we say We'd better think about the games we play The world went round, around and round
We'd better think about the consequences We'd better think about the global senses The time went out, the time went out
What about Chernobyl? What about radiation? We don't know, we don't know
What about deprivation? Gluttony, the human nation? We don't know, we don't know For me love is all, for me love is all For me love is all, for me love is all
Time is ticking out
Looks like we screwed up the ozone layer I wonder if the politicians care And time went out, and time went out
What about our children then? Is there nothing left for them? We don't know, we don't know For me love is all, for me love is all For me love is all, for me love is all Ahh they need oxygen, ahh they need oxygen For me love is all, for me love is all For me love is all, for me love is all
"(...) y había creido ingenuamente que venía por otro túnel paralelo al mío, cuando en realidad pertenecía al ancho mundo, al mundo sin límites de los que no viven en túneles." [Ernesto Sábato, Sobre héroes y tumbas]
I heard about your story from a friend To let go and make an end, that's what you did You left some words saying now it would be good You knew they'd cry, but you hoped they understood Things you've had to face, what you have seen To make it through each day, you tried, Without the tears They tried to help, but they didn't see you crawl They knew you fought, but they never Thought you'd fall They never thought you'd fall.
Tell them please, how could they know Hurts inside, no scars to show You played the lead, and never once you failed And the place from where you watch us now Hope you've found your peace somehow, Peace somehow
I heard about your story through the years Know 'bout all your hurt and fears I won't forget I wrote a song that I wish for you to hear It's about yourself and the life you couldn't bear
Tell them please, how could they know Hurts inside, no scars to show You played the lead, and never once you failed And the place from where you watch us now Hope you've found your peace somehow, Peace somehow
I wanna remember all there's about you, And I know there's so much I see all the faces, the tears and embraces Wish you could be here to see it too
"(...) y había creido ingenuamente que venía por otro túnel paralelo al mío, cuando en realidad pertenecía al ancho mundo, al mundo sin límites de los que no viven en túneles." [Ernesto Sábato, Sobre héroes y tumbas]
They’re gonna clean up your looks With all the lies in the books To make a citizen out of you Because they sleep with a gun And keep an eye on you,son So they can watch all the things you do
Because the drugs never work They’re gonna give you a smirk ‘Cause they got methods of keeping you clean They’re gonna rip off your heads Your aspirations to shreds Another cog in the murder machine
They said all teenagers scare The living **** out of me They coul care less As long as someone’ll bleed So darken your clothes Or strike a violent pose Maybe they’ll leave you alone, but not me
The boys and girls in a clique The awful names that they stick You’re never gonna fit in much, kid But if you’re troubled and hurt What you got under your shirt Will make them pay for the things that they did
They said all teenagers scare The living **** out of me They could care less As long as someone’ll bleed So darken your clothes Or strike a violent pose Maybe they’ll leave you alone, but not me
Oh yeah
They said all teenagers scare The living **** out of me They could care less As long as someone’ll bleed So darken your clothes Or strike a violent pose Maybe they’ll leave you alone, but not me
All together now
Teenagers scare The living **** out of me They could care less As long as someone’ll bleed So darken your clothes Or strike a violent pose Maybe they’ll leave you alone, but not me
Teenagers scare The living **** out of me They could care less As long as someone’ll bleed So darken your clothes Or strike a violent pose Maybe they’ll leave you alone, but not me
"(...) y había creido ingenuamente que venía por otro túnel paralelo al mío, cuando en realidad pertenecía al ancho mundo, al mundo sin límites de los que no viven en túneles." [Ernesto Sábato, Sobre héroes y tumbas]

I just noticed that the project 'music with a mission' hasn't been updated so I thought of sharing some good songs:
Come Home by OneRepublic: lyrics: http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/onerepublic/comehome.html here's a verse: I get lost in the beautyOf everything i see The world ain’t as half as bad As they paint it to be If all the sons If all the daughters Stopped to take it in Well hopefully the hate subsides and the love can begin It might start now..Yeahh Well maybe I’m just dreaming out loud Until then
Also there's a song called Elements by Blue: lyrics: http://www.lyrics007.com/Blue%20Lyrics/Elements%20Lyrics.html here's a bit from it: Colours and fountains and mountains and trees, take just a second to stop and to think, God was an artist painted pictures to see, look how beautiful life can be

Awesome Huda! I'm sorry I haven't updated the Music with a Mission project page (with all the videos), but I'll try to get it 100% updated soon, once I get some free time.

Two songs about war and soldiers.. They're in the perspective of soldiers and what they go through.. Theý're not anti-war per se but they gave a great view of what these people go through every day and why they are heroes (not that I agree with the war, not at all, but I think that these soldiers are heroes every day, they risking their lifes every day because they (most of them) believe in making this world a better place and try to achieve it so here are my entries :
