Hey everyone!

So here's our own Sports discussion, feel free to discuss any sport, sportsmen, sportswomen, team etc here.
I hope you will all enjoy this thread and I hope to learn something more about other sports like baseball f.e

I saw my first dodgers game a few days ago by the way I was so excited with a great 8th inning from the dodgers ;D They won with 8-4, which reminds me of the fact that I really want to buy a touch shirt from the dodgers (Alyssa's new clothing line, for all MLB teams for women..)

Have fun,

Jenny

:P

We, here only really concentrate on American sports (NFL, NHL, NBA, etc..).. But what sports leagues do you have around other countries? All I know, is the English Preimership, UFEA (I think it's a torny), and then the international world cups (FIFA, ICC, etc.). So what sports do you guys follow?

I follow soccer (it's called football in Europe, football is the official name) Anyways the league here is called the Holland Casino Eredivisie (dutch word) and the 2nd league is called Eerste Divisie or Gouden Gids (Yellow Pages) division something like that.. It's UEFA by the way ;) and they have the Champions League which is a tournament during the season between the best teams of the European countries, so the nrs 1 and 2 of the countries and the UEFA Cup which is for the teams that are ranked 3th to 6/7th in their competition depends on the league of the country, the further a team gets during the Champions Leagua or Eufa Cup the more points they get for their country's league, the more points the more places you have for teams in the two tournaments.. I don't really follow any other sports although I have to say I really enjoy watching baseball could you explain the rules and competition of the MLB..Because I don't really get it... :)
